All Blizzard Survival products are made from the unique patented Reflexcell.

Reflexcell is composed of several layers. The perforated inner layer stores the patient's remaining body heat in different chambers. The elastic band ensures that the material fits tightly around the body and the silver color ensures optimal reflection. These factors provide an insulation value comparable to a 3-season comforter. The material is water and wind resistant and is not affected by moisture.

All Reflexcell products are vacuum drawn, which means the product is packed to a minimum volume. Reflexcell is significantly stronger than single-ply rescue blankets and is less likely to tear. Even if damaged, the material retains its function due to its cellular structure.
