BRC – Baie, Rack, Caisson – is a French engineering company based in Brittany with over 30 years of experience in tailor-made protective enclosures. Unlike catalogue suppliers, BRC does not ask you to adapt your equipment to a housing. Every enclosure is engineered from the ground up around your equipment, your operational constraints and your requirements.

BRC was founded in Brittany and has spent over three decades engineering custom protective enclosures for the most demanding sectors. That experience translates into proven design processes, an in-depth knowledge of military and industrial standards, and the ability to quickly turn complex technical challenges into workable solutions.

From portable field cases for special forces units to fully integrated rack bays for aeronautics applications, every project starts with a TRS (Technical Specification of Requirements) and ends with an individually inspected, fully documented enclosure. No two projects are identical.

100% MADE IN FRANCE

All design and manufacturing processes are carried out in-house in Brittany: from stratification and sheet-metal work to foam machining, assembly, EMC shielding, and final quality control. Full traceability, full documentation, full accountability.

MECHANICAL

Drops, shocks and vibrations to STANAG 4370 and NORMDEF 0102 standards. Qualified for road, rail, air and sea transport.

CLIMATIC

Water, sand and dust ingress, extreme temperature variation, salt fog, rapid decompression and chemical fluid exposure. IP-coded to ISO 60529.

ELECTROMAGNETIC

EMC-shielding from 30dB dissipation up to full Tempest Level A classification. For operations where signal integrity is non-negotiable.

Every BRC enclosure is custom-made. Dimensions, materials, fittings and protection specifications are defined per project, with production lifecycles of 5 to 25 years.

Mobile command system
PC OPS - Ground Control System
A portable field control station integrating dual screens, joystick, manual controls and a compact keyboard into a robust transport enclosure with folding handles and legs.
Designed for the operation of drones and remotely controlled systems in the field. Suited to defence, security and industrial inspection applications. Deployable immediately on arrival, protected throughout the journey.
SHOCK RESISTANCE
CHOC BOX
Designed for severe handling, drops and impact during transport and rapid deployment. Available in aluminium, composite or Xtra-Lucem.
Vibration isolation
VIB BOX
Vibration-isolated enclosures for vehicle-mounted SATCOM, airborne electronics and field communications. Available with integrated air conditioning or air-to-air heat exchangers.
Integrated electronics
RACK BOX & 19" BAY
19-inch rack-format enclosures and full Atlas Bay systems. Protected during transport, operational on arrival.
Ordnance transport
RANGE BOX
Safe transport and handling of ordnance and pyrotechnics in degraded environments. Compliant with the 1-4.S standard for the protection of personnel and ammunition.
Proprietary composite
XTRA-LUCEM BOX
-50% mass vs. conventional composites, +30% mechanical resistance. M1F1 fire classification for aircraft, submarines and armoured vehicles. Lucem Light frames run 50% lighter than standard aluminium frames.
Thermal management
Air-conditioned Box
Active cooling and heat exchanger systems integrated into the enclosure for equipment requiring tight thermal envelopes regardless of ambient conditions.
