K9 Tourniquet

The K9 Tourniquet is specifically designed to stop massive blood loss in a dog. Because of a dog's tapered limb, a tourniquet designed specifically for human use will not work as well. If the animal is moving or being transported, a "normal" tourniquet risks slipping off easily. Slipping of humane tourniquets and bandages is a common problem.

This special K9 tourniquet is designed to be placed high around the limb. The buckle, elasticity and non-slip of the strap prevents the tourniquet from slipping and losing circumferential pressure. The k9 tourniquet is easy and quick to put on.
