RedVac Immobilization Combi Mattress (VM9000)

Due to lack of space in an ambulance, the VM9000 combination mattress was developed. The mattress serves as a comfortable standard mattress for a stretcher, but can also be used as an immobilization mattress for a trauma patient. No additional storage space is required in the vehicle for this mattress.

The vacuum mattresses and splints from Kohlbrat & Bunz are developed and manufactured in the Austrian Alps. In order to meet the highest quality standards, there is very close cooperation with local demanding mountain rescue teams and ambulance services.

All RedVac products are available with the patented multi-chamber system for optimal stiffness. The new "CLICK" system allows for quick removal of the handles and restraint straps, and the TPU fabric is abrasion resistant and easy to clean. In addition, all RedVac materials are X-ray permeable and can be custom labeled.

RedVac also has a wide range of vacuum splints. These are available in many sizes, shapes, and with velcro.
