HOW DOES IT WORK?

CONTROLLED PLACEMENT. NO POWER REQUIRED.

The SAM IO works by repeatedly and fully actuating the driver’s trigger assembly while gently guiding the needle into position. That rotational spin, combined with gentle downward pressure, results in controlled intraosseous needle placement. The driver provides tactile feedback the moment the catheter reaches the medullary space – so every step is deliberate and confirmed.

Once the needle is correctly placed, the stylet is removed and secured in the included NeedleVise® block for safe sharps containment. The standard Luer-lock connection is then free for aspiration, flushing, and immediate treatment.
